More metalwork/fab completed

A few pics and updates some of you asked for:

Left Rear Cab corner patch: not too hard, just really tedious to get right.
EMC patch, not bad but not the best I've used, worked with trimming/messaging as usual

Hagan Hinge install: Great Product!! Takes skill to get right, or in my case some skill and alot of time to get right.
But well worth the effort, the pics speak for themselves.
Fabbed up bolted them in and one adjustment and every line is straight and the gaps are right on.

Wiper conversion & Vintage Air install: wipers really easy, bolt in.
VA mount wasn't too hard, but had to reverse the dash defrost duct deflectors and swap them left to right and
right to left to clear the wiper arms.
And yes those are Harley oil tank rubber isolators I used to mount the evaporator, really cool for isolating anything.

Wow, nice work!

What are your plans for a steering column since you've plugged up that hole?

Very nice work!

Since you posted the last pic, what are those seats out of? Also, what wheel is that on the IDIDIT column?

Gotta love it when a plan comes together...truck is looking good!

I have question about the V/A mounting...why shock isolate the unit? I have used various shock isolators, not sure how much HD sells their oil tank mounts for but you could try Anti Vibration Mounts - suspension mounts, wheels, leveling feet, bumpers, grommets, pads for those and many other mounts.

No engineering degree here just practical experience with all sorts of equipment and systems in the navy and oil field, with and without shock mounts. Shock mounting works both ways, no vibrations or road jarring gets imparted to the Evap. and God forbid the Evap develops a fan vibration or is a little out of balance or transfers harmonics thru the firewall via the hoses or whatever...they'll help reduce either. Go on-board a modern navy ship and 'Everything' is shock mounted, they're really **** about harmonics and their noise signature and wouldn't do it if it didn't work effectively. Besides at $2.50 each it's cheap insurance for a $500 piece of equip. Ounce of prevention vs pound of cure applies I think.

That's my story and......
