this might be a dumb question

this might be a dumb question but if u get a 460 with a zf5speed that was a 2wd would u be able to bolt up a t-case to it? i know its the same trans as the 4x4 right?

I wanna say no, The 2wd and the 4wd tailshafts are different. And i wanna say the tailshafts arent removable. it would be alot of work, total disassembly of tranny. I'm pretty sure thats the only way. someone else will prolly chime in on this to verify.

you can throw on the output shaft and rear housing from a 4x4 trans and be gtg. If you have a good 2wd ZF and find a busted 4wd, you can convert it over.

Not that big of a deal really.
