Overdrive stuck off
Hey I have a 92 f350 with a 351. I was driving around town the other day and saw my OD button on the column said off. Well I clicked it and nothing happened still said off so I drove it back to school. I start it up the next day the OD was working fine then about 10 min the off light comes back on. The truck has a rebuilt motor and transmission with about 10,000 miles on it. I did some research but could not come up with a definite answer to solve my problem. This means I should not drive the truck higher then 55mph right?

I'm thinking you'll find a break in the tan-white wire in the shifter harness, circuit feeding the button.
Easy to drop the column down and inspect.
And yea you can drive it over 55, won't hurt a thing, well other then your fuel economy!
