Incentives and Coupon ?
I was told by a Ford Rep that their is a $500.oo coupon on the Ford site, if you know where to look. Has anyone heard of this or seen the site where it's located.

i requested a catalog, and in about 2 weeks i got a $750 coupon. it expired in 30 days. After expiration i got a $500 coupon. when that one expired i got (3 days ago) a $1000 coupon. . . well that one has pushed me over and i'm going monday to order a new truck

I have a $750 coupon that expires 11/13/10 I am supposed to get my truck delivered the week of 11/08/10. I wonder if I call ford and tell them I never received my brochure if they will send me a new one with a later expiration date and maybe a little more like the $1000 in the previous post.

The dealer can look up on his computer what ever coupons Ford has mailed out to you. They can find the coupon on the computer and enter the code # even if you loose of forget to bring in the coupon.
Dealers have to turn in sales reports, Depending on what day you buy, they can sometimes back date the sales papers to use a coupon that expired a day or two earlier.

I was told to look on the Ford site, but apparently no one can find it. It looks as if the only coupon available is requesting a brochure, which can take a couple of weeks. That's my understanding. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Big Bri - OK, what was the secret process you used to get not one, but three different discount coupons at for different amounts. Did you order three catalogs or some other way. Another question - which model catalog do you need to order from the website. I have heard that the trick is to show an interest in a 350 and not a 250 - any truth to this. I am placing an order this week and I want to start trying to time a catalog order so I have a coupon in hand at the time of delivery. Thanks

Well I finally got my brochure today, sort-of after the fact. Their is nothing in it or about any type of coupon. Their is a bunch of numbers above my name and address. Is this some type of code? Was told if I have this coupon I can go back to the dealer and they will give me a credit. Need some help on finding this coupon.

usually, ordering the brochure gets you on their "interested" mailing list. The coupons are mailed out at *set* intervals, to all the people on that list. It works just like all other targeted marketing. If they see you as a potential customer, they will entice you to buy. They most likely track other factors, like how long you've been on the list, how many other Ford products you've owned, etc. etc. The coupons go to the lists of people that the marketing team deems most likely to purchase because of the coupon.
Sure, you can "game the system" to try and get a coupon ahead of schedule... but your best bet is to get on the mailing list and wait.

It was a miss for me. I tried twice to get the coupon while waiting for my order but alas, I only received two brochures. I was envious of the guys who got the extra love from Ford.

My 2011 Ford F-350 DRW 6.7 was ordered on 09/13/10. I requested a brochure online the same week I ordered the truck and received it 2 weeks later with a $750 coupon attached. It is going to expire 10/13/10 and I am not supposed to get my truck until the week of 10/15/10. I ordered another brochure in my wifes name 2 weeks ago and I got it today with $750 coupon attached which does no expire until 12/06/10. I was also told you cannot combine his coupon with the military or police offcer $500 incentive Ford offers. Me aand the DW are both going to be on the title so I can use the $750 coupon she just got today.

Just to add my $.03. I requested a brochure and got one last night with the $750 coupon. The interesting part is that mine expires in 60 days and not 30. The only thing I can think that I did different is when I filled out the info online I indicated that I was going to buy a truck in the next 60 days. Maybe that makes a difference. Now the real challenge is get my truck here in 60 days.

You should get it in 60 days. I ordered my F-350 6.7 DRW Golden Bronze Metallic on 9/13. It is in production this week and I am supposed to get delivered the week of 11/15. Right around the 60 day mark but from what I have been reading most trucks are coming between 5-6 weeks.
