so why do u people balance off road tires?


unbalanced 44s run down the hwy up to 80 mph ok.

Well, the first couple miles are a good fun ride untell the loose the "flat spots"

my sx's weren't even good enough for around town driving they were so out of balance. but at zero balance they were ok around 50, 70ish, and all the way tapped out down the highway.

not everyone has a trailer and tow rig. well, i mean i had a trailer, but i lived in it

het guys sorry for takin so long to get back on here ok the king pins are good the tires are 39.5 by 15 wide r16 they are used and they are truxs sts they look to have are really humped in the middle of the tires but i only payed a 100 bucks so should i just throw them out and get some better ones

Seems like there used to be a tech thread on how to shim your kingpins when running larger tires.

hmmm, wheres STG when you need him.

washers between spring and cap......



but, a good rebuild is all I have on mine.. Seemes to be fine..

he had brand new rebuilt kingpins and the tires still had deathwobble out the ying yang until the washer under the spring cap trick.
