2000 'Stroke hard start/rough
2000 F350 260,000kms 4x4 auto.
injectors have roughly 45,000 kms on full set
new fuel filter, air filter
A couple weeks ago this truck blew a high pressure oil line in the valley while on the highway and stalled. the line was replaced by a HD mechanic and the truck was back to normal. About a week later it started have problems starting ( 1 - 2 min cranking, multiple cycles on the glow plugs) and then it would only start while plugged in. 600km trip home and no problems. then on the trip back to camp it stalled completely so we changed fuel/air filters and checked oil. it fired up again but was running really rough with a little grey smoke occasionally. after another 600kms it was right back to normal but the next morning it was back to the old routine. Injectors? HPOP? any help would be appreciated!

Does the CEL come on when it's running bad? Could be a loose UVCH issue. Blowing the line and getting a new one installed "might" have introduced some contaminants or dirt into the oil rail which "might" have damaged some injectors.
Know anyone with a scanner that can pull codes or monitor live data? Sensors that act up can also have these types of symptoms.
