Door Ajar bing bing bing
My 97 F150's Door Ajar light is on (not a real problem), and also the BING BING BING telling me the door is ajar (a wicked big problem) will sometimes run for 20 -30 minutes. Interior light stays on as well. I found the fuse to disable the BING BING BING, but it kills all the interior lights AND the wipers. Not a sustainable solution.
Does anyone know where the BING BING BING speaker is? Or some other way to disable the BINGing. I looked under the dash, but can't find anything that looks like a speaker.

This seems to be one of the more common problems we talk about on here. Take a look at https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...ight=door+ajar
You can also do a search with the search button at the top of this page. Basically what you have to do is clean out the door latch switches with WD40 by spraying lots of it into the latches.
