I'm going with aftermarket gauges in the Pickup. I've narrowed it down to two different choices shown below. Which do you like and why? I'll use the 5" speedometer that matches the gauge pictured below along with a quad gauge setup. The tach and quad gauge will go in the factory auxiliary gauge holes and will be 3-3/8" as the original tachs were. It should look pretty slick, I just need some help deciding on which one to go with. The black one will get a red pointer rather than white.

The first one with a red pointer will look nice.

I'd go for which matches your gauges the most...personally, I've yet to see an after-market tach that looks good installed...it's great to have the info, but I always feel they look quite ad-hoc. Having said that...the ones you've posted are the nicest I've yet seen.

I'm using the matching speedometer, so it all the gauges will be identical. If I use the black, I'll have them install red pointers rather than the white ones.

Here's a Quad Gauge in the black:

And here's a speedometer in the nickel:

As you can see, the gauge series are nearly identical in design except for the color.

What color is the interior? The 2nd one would go great with brown to beige interior, 1st better with black or grey. My 2 cents.

It rilly depends on what you are going for the first one is ezer to read at a glance so if your putting it in a daily driver id use that one but the second one is more classy so if your putting it into a show rig or a weakend warrior I would use the second
