Rotating tires

The 77 F150 FORD manual says to rotate bias tires in a criss cross fashion. The radials are shown as just front to rear. Does this still apply or are radials criss crossed as well. What are you'al doin.

I switch it up and always had good luck with it.

One time I will switch the front tires straight to the back and the back to the front.
The next time I will switch fl with br and fr with bl.
