Mystery oring

Look what I found in the valley. I assume it is off of the fuel bowl. Is it?

Looks too big to me but I have not had to pull the fuel bowl either.
Looks to me like the small o-ring on the turbo pedestal.
Have you had the turbo off before?

It's too big for the fuel bowl drain o-rings so my guess is it's from the turbo as well.

I would not worry too much about it. It did not just jump out there by itself. It is certainly left over from previous work done.

Good point, Joe. Forgot to mention that. I need to fish out a GPR nut from the valley one of these days...

My thinking as well... kinda looks like the O-rings I put on my HPOP output ports. It's the right color anyways...

Thanks for the replies all. After looking at the garrett manual, it seems next to impossible that it ended up there by itself if it is off the pedestal.

Thing is, I am pretty sure that the turbo has never been removed. In addition, I have had oil/fuel residue in the valley for a long time and cleaned it a while back. I didn't see this oring then.

Thanks everyone.
