WTF dude pump the brakes that there idea is cussin here on this forum lol Quadra Junk is garbage die hard chevhy guys will say the same and there is no way that thing should be put on a FORD hell they are perfect for chevys they barly move under their own power in the first place lol. Just rebuild the carb you hacve or go to a junk yard get a carb and rebuild it

hellz yea.rebuilt the carb.got gas spraying everywhere(didnt adjust floats right...facepalm) rebuilt and adjusted the floats the right way to specs and runs great(except for a miss which is a wire on too loose.)it ended up being the needle and seat was corroded to death but i finally got it fixed.first time i rebuilt a carb as well.so +1 for me=)

Ding Ding Ding!!!! i vote the floats arent working and its unlikely but posible the float for your secondaries has gotten a hole in it and isnt floating

no now it runs.the needle and seat were bad originally so i replaced both and then i didnt get the floats set right so i pulled it back apart.i ran a different wire to power the coil on key on.but now it works the needles seat was all corroded and such.but as i said before now it works it was just getting WAY to much fuel.
