'98 Expy EB - Elec. 4WD PROBLEMS

Has anyone had problems engaging and disengaging Electronic 4WD? I own a '98 Eddie Bauer with 60K miles. The A4WD setting works fine, it engages and disengages whenever necessary. However, high and low range is all out of whack. Anyone with ANY feedback would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Pete

Pete, Use the search engine on this message board. I have never had this problem myself but many others have. There are some past threads concirning this subject. I think that there were also some that had the same problem with there 97' and newer pickup trucks also. I believe there was something to do with the electric surbo motors that mount on the transfer case not functioning properly or freezing up in the full 4x4 position. Good luck.
