hello to every one. i'm a new member and very computer eliterate - sorry. i live in the north okanagan valley, british columbia. stumbled across this site a month ago while i was recuperating from minor surgery. been browsing the old threads, very interesting and informative. seems like i'm in the same boat as everyone else, have time- no money, have money - no time, to many projects. currently working on a 56 c-500 coe. and a 54 m-350. also have a 56 f-100 and a 40 el hd. again hi to all and best wishes, hope to participate from time to time.
Welcome to the forum, you'll like it here. That's a great looking coe you have and it looks to be a mercury if I'm not mistaken. Really nice project, it seems as though there are a lot more of them being restored.
thanks Julie for moving the picture, don't know how you did it but great. 56 panelford, yes it is a merc. will try to post more pics as time and knowledge permits. i have had old ugly since about 82 but only started work on it about 5 yrs ago. took some pics of build as i went along. have always liked the old cab forwards. my wife spotted this down by the border when we were out for a sunday drive. ended out buying the truck and deck for $300.00 then sold the deck for $200.00. the truck sat in the weeds for some time so the fenders and running boards were quite rusty. its been alot of work to get it this far as i'm not a great body man but like to do everything myself . more later, someone else wants a turn.
