Hello Old, a big welcome from another crazy Canuck and B.C. car / truck nut case. Just a heads up, but if you have some computer expert (actually you can do it) put your location in the user CP; we will know where to come and help with the COE (actually drink your beer and then go home).
I did want to tell you about your name sake.
In 1970 I had just opened a service station and needed something to plow snow with and a customer told me about an old tractor that was for sale so I went and had a look. It had been used in a cement plant pushing sand and had a homemade front frame etc and $ 500.00 was a major expenditure at the time but I bit the bullet. It was worn out when I got it and 40 years latter it is really worn out but still keeps on ticking (well on 3 cylinders anyway). When I got it I finger painted it’s name on the side which has long since faded away.
Yep,………………..”OLD UGLY”

53pickemuptruck- thanks for the welcome note. i am hoping to learn more about this site and computers as time goes by ( winter is a good time for this). i will have a number of questions and hopefully some advise for others also. in answer to your question - i seem to have more time than money. i do everything that i can myself. the only thing on the c.o.e. thatni farmed out were the drive shafts. my 56 f-100 i've had for about 25 yrs. and it's not done yet, far from it. had to put it aside because of job, away all the time. my 40 el harley i've had for about 44 yrs. took it apart to repaint about 6 yrs. ago, haven't got it back together yet because i thought i had a use for the c.o.e. ( that use went west ) so started work on it about 6 yrs. ago. i,ve had it about 20 yrs. the c.o.e. has became a passion ( probably because i have so much into it ), but i've had a few set backs with time the past 4 yrs. and now i'm running low on energy but keep on trying. also a need has come along for my 54 m-350 ( my dad bought it in 58 ) so am putting more time into it. hope to have it road worthy by next fall. if i can't get it all done, hopefully my son can.
