help!

i have a 97 7.3 psd and it wont start. I replaced the cps, icp changed the oil, and pulled the driver side valve cover and checked the harness (havent had the chance to check the pass side) its gettin fuel to the top of the motor and i can smell raw fuel coming out of the tail pipe y wont it start?

Check the Glow Plugs, my truck wouldn't start when my Glow Plugs went bad. I believe yours are under the valve covers since its the powerstroke, sounds silly but that can cause it

x2 on the glowplugs..... did you reset the KAM after you replaced those things?

but would the glow plugs make it just shut off and then not start again?

I had to replace the glowplug box in the back cuz it was shot too. (Sorry early in the morning and i cant remember parts easily)

well i replaced the
tie rods on labor day let it warm up
to take it for a test drive and it
stalled backin out of the driveway
and hasnt
started since

KAM is the keep alive memory...you need to reset it every time you change a sensor (I do anyways) just pull the positive cable off the battery for around 15 minutes then hook it back up and give it a shot.
