351 conversion from 302
Well my 302 motor may as well be finished. The oil pan is leaking like mad, and the manifold-to-downpipe flang bolts sheared. So my understanding is with something like that, you may as well pull the engine. And if the engine is out, I may as well put something better in.
So I'm just wanting to confirm the issues that I'll run into with this swap. I have a 1994 302 SD with a ZF manual, and am swapping in a 1991 351 SD motor. So my understanding is that:
-I'll need a 28oz flywheel
-The 5.0L SD computer will run the 351 motor, but not well. So I'll need a new computer
-351 is wider, so I'll need to fabricate a new Y-pipe setup.
Other than the things listed above, I think those are the only things I need to worry about, correct? I also have a set of long tube headers that I may as well put on while I'm at it, so that should add a bit more of a challenge too no doubt.

(Because I can't do a signature yet: Truck is a 1994 F150 regular cab long box 4x4 with a ZF and dual tanks.)
