TRUCKIN’ FAST Ford F-250 Beats Up SRT Dodge

f250 beats srt4

This week’s Truckin Fast video features a second generation (2008-2010) Ford F-250 Super Duty taking on a Dodge Neon SRT4 in a quick street race. We don’t know anything about either of the competitors here, but it doesn’t take a Ford engineer to know that this F-250 is most certainly not stock. From the thick, black smoke pouring from the exhaust to the simple fact that it easily outruns this Dodge compact that is very capable of running well into the 13 second quarter mile range – we can tell that this PowerStroke’d F-250 has at least a few extra ponies (and likely a few extra hundred lb-ft of torque).

When the race begins, the Neon gets a slight head advantage, but when the turbocharged, front wheel drive Dodge sedan can’t get good traction – the big, bad PowerStroke in the far lane takes over. The F-250 quickly pulls ahead and even as the two race off into the distance, we can see that the SRT4 Neon never gets back ahead of the massive Ford truck.

Crank up your speakers and enjoy!
