This 1965 Ford Falcon Ranchero Will Make You say, Yeehaw!
There was a time when a man didn’t have to choose between a hot car and a hot truck. He simply had to make up his mind, and head to the local dealer to pick up a Ranchero, and the rest was history.
Things aren’t so simple nowadays. There are small, medium and full-size cars, but none of them come with a pickup bed attached to them. Luckily, all you have to do is head over to Craigslist, check out this Rangoon Red 1965 Ford Falcon Ranchero, pay its owner $13,500, and enjoy this bad boy all to yourself.
Located in Culver City, California, this Ranchero is bound to turn some heads with minimal investment, perhaps all it needs is a good buffing, waxing and washing. According to the owner, the paint is in great shape, but looks a bit faded in some areas, and the chrome trim around the car looks to be spot on. Even the wheel and tire combination is period correct, and plays the part well.
The interior looks to have held up incredibly well through the years, although the steering wheel could be replaced for something a bit less hot rod, and more vintage. The 289 V8 under the hood as an Edelbrock carb, intake manifold, water pump, chrome rocker covers, and air filter, and surely backs up the hot rod looks of this Ranchero.
So there yo have it, if you need a truck and a car, here’s your chance!
