Ranger Raptor Is Digitally De-Camouflaged and It Looks Awesome
The enthusiast site Ranger5G manages to carefully de-camo Australia’s Ranger Raptor and reveal its juicy attributes!
When news broke out of an upcoming Ranger Raptor, the Ford Truck Enthusiasts community went absolutely insane. While there’s always a hater in every crowd, the response to a new, midsize, badass Raptor-fied Ranger was 99.9 percent positive.
Unfortunately, there’s a downside and it’s a big one. While the off-road slayer has been confirmed for the Australian market, it hasn’t for North or South America — despite Mexico and Brazil being key players in the model’s production and sales statistics. But, with the confirmation of the new-generation Ranger for the USA in 2019 or 2020, we can only hope and pray that it’s just a matter of time until Ford brings one of these bad boys over.
Because people were just too curious about what it may look like without all the camo Ford wrapped the Ranger in for their “release” video, the good folks at Ranger5G.com got to work on these amazing renderings. They claim that they’ve carefully analyzed the footage of the truck wearing camo, and digitally have peeled the layers off to reveal a close representation of the real deal.
We must add that this is still, by all means, a rendering — so there’s a chance that it may look nothing like this. But, this also means there’s a chance that it could look a lot like this. Much like the Bronco renderings their sister site released earlier this year, this midsize truck even sports different hoods, door handles, roof colors, body colors, etc. In other words, this is a first-class rendering.
Do you dig it? We do!
