For decades, wanna be race car drivers and overall car enthusiasts have had to give up their beloved speed babies when the real babies arrive. You know how it goes—oh, I have kids now so I have to get rid of my super awesome sports car and buy a cool pickup truck. (Because a minivan is never an option.)

As you may have heard, Ford set out to make the best Mustang in the history of Mustangs, and it’s called the Shelby GT350R. But there was a problem with it, because of its super-sports nature, Ford deleted the backseat and made it a two seater only. Say no more wannabe racer Dads!

Ford announced today that for only $999 bucks you can turn your Shelby GT350 into a four seater, and stop driving your F-150. Unless you need to tow things, of course.

Ford listened to customer feedback and designed a backseat that features the same high-quality Alcantara, and even high-contrast red stitching as the front seats do. So not only can you carry your precious cargo now, but they won’t feel like they’ve been delegated to coach-class.

So there you have it, more reasons to turn your sports car into your daily driver, and leave the truck for serious truck stuff.
