This uncut 1969 Ford Bronco is a one-family special that remains in stellar original condition.

These days, finding an original or at least uncut first-gen Ford Bronco is a very difficult task. Even before the current Bronco craze came along and seemingly everyone started transforming early examples into restomods, most agreed that the original Bronco simply looked better with cut rear fenders and big tires. Thus, this immaculate, original 1969 Ford Bronco up for grabs at Bring a Trailer actually looks a bit odd, only because we rarely see them in this sort of condition.

The first thought that crossed our minds when we saw this Sky View Blue beauty is that it has probably been restored, but that isn’t the case at all. In fact, it’s all original, save for a recent mechanical service that included replacing the spark plugs and wires, ignition coil, water pump, and hoses. It was acquired from the original owner’s family with just 69k miles showing on the odometer, and it even comes with a Deluxe Marti Report and paint depth readings like a proper collector-grade vehicle.

The windshield frame and tailgate were repainted, while the white hardtop and front grille provide a nice vintage contrast to the light blue exterior. This 1969 Ford Bronco still rolls on a set of 15-inch steel wheels with chrome hub caps and 235/75 Goodyear Wrangler white-letter tires, with drum brakes at all four corners and manually-locking hubs.

The Parchment Rosette interior also looks good as new, though the front seats have been recovered. There aren’t many features present in the cabin, as one might expect – just an AM radio and a heater, and that’s about it. Power comes from the tried and true 302 cubic-inch V8, which is mated to a three-speed manual transmission, and the engine bay is as tidy as one might expect by now.

Add it all up, and this 1969 Bronco is one of the nicer survivors we’ve seen in some time. But it’s even more special considering the fact that there sure don’t seem to be many original first-gens left out there in the world, which will only make them more coveted and valuable moving forward.
