Canadian travelers go on the road in E-150 van for epic adventure of a lifetime across North America.
Two adventure-loving Canadians named Nick and Jannus decided to follow their dream of traveling North America in a 2003 Ford Econoline E-150 conversion van. Going by the name Quest to the West, Nick and Jannus bought a van, converted it into a home on wheels, and hit the road. It was the trip of a lifetime, and they documented it in great detail along the way. They captured the freedom and allure of being on the road. Prepping the Ride
Before they could embark on a road trip, they needed the right set of wheels.
They bought a used 2003 Ford Econoline E-150 with about 101,000 miles on the odometer. It was a solid van, although cosmetically it was in need of some renovations, especially because the interior was decked out in green AstroTurf. Cosmetic issues aside, the van was rust-free and in great driving condition. Nick was sure this was the van to take on a road trip, “We already had a good base to start with.”
