Get Your Kicks at Route 66 Cruisin' Reunion

A fun and popular event, the SoCal Route 66 car show features vast and varied classic rides, Sept. 20-21.

This weekend, Ontario, California, will be going back in time. Classic cars and trucks will take over the town for the Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion. So many rare and vintage Fords in one place? Paradise, to us. The Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion is an annual event, created by the Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau. The weekend celebrates those wonderful cars and trucks that once traversed the iconic American highway.

On the agenda will be contests, all the chrome and steel you could want, and live entertainment–including music by Foghat! We will refrain from making a “Slow Ride” joke, here.

Of course, the show will feature all the stunning autos at the Show and Shine. A great opportunity to get up close with those beautiful trucks from yesteryear. Many will be there for the fun of it, and many trucks are pumped and polished and ready to compete.

Awards will be given on the last night of the event in the following categories: Mayors Choice Award, Editor’s Choice Award (Street Muscle Magazine), Editor’s Choice Award (Rod Authority), and Best of Show, of course. There are also categories for stock and modified vehicles from the 1920s to the 1970s.

In addition to the classic trucks, there will be some of Ford’s greatest hits from muscle cars to classic cruisers.
