Want a Ford Bronco? How About One with a Cummins Diesel?
Ford Bronco this, Bronco that, the Bronco is going into production, the Bronco is just a rumor. Aren’t you tired of all the Bronco drama? How about you focus on the one Bronco you can actually buy?
Even better, why not a Ford Bronco Diesel! Yes, you read that right. A proud Bronco owner from Seattle, Washington just listed on Craigslist his beloved 1996 Ford Bronco which has been transplanted with a 12V Cummins turbo diesel engine. The owner claims this Frankenstein Cummins Bronco has right around 135,000 miles under its belt, and delivers around 20 to 25 miles per gallon.
The owner states that the conversion was done professionally by GOS Performance shop in Livingston, Montana in 2009, and that the look under the hood is clean and even stock looking, which we can verify with the provided pictures. The Craigslist offers plenty of details and specifications about the engine and drivetrain conversion, so make sure to give it a careful read if you’re interested.
Asking price on this one-of-a-kind is just $27,500 even though the owner says he’s got about $40k into it.
Are you on your way to Seattle yet?
