Fantastic Vintage Ford Trucks Are Rolling into Los Angeles
We’re suckers for two things – classic trucks and big auctions. And this weekend, we get lots of both!
Admit it, you’re a sucker for big auctions. We might loathe the rich dudes who get to fly out to these massive Barrett-Jackson and Mecum events and fling their paddles around, sure. But we still sit and watch as gorgeous ride after gorgeous ride rolls across the big stage. It’s a fascinating and highly entertaining parade that often keeps us glued to the tube for entire weekends at a time. And this year’s Mecum Los Angeles auction features plenty of primo Ford trucks to get excited over.
The action kicked off February 16, and runs only through the very next day. But we’ve already fallen in love with a host of early Ford trucks set to cross the block. Just take a look at this gorgeous 1949 F1, for starters. A recent cosmetic restoration worked wonders for the red ride, which sadly has only traveled 75 miles in the last six years. Somebody needs to drive this thing!
