Here in the United States, we have some pretty impressive police interceptors. A V8 Charger isn’t exactly a slouch. But if you live in a country where fleeing off-road is even more of an option, you need some serious hardware to pursue. In Australia, that’s a Ford F-150 SVT Raptor converted for police duty.

There are many reasons why an old Ford may need to be rebuilt. A lot of times it’s because someone has left the rig sitting for far too long. Other times it is because there was a very unfortunate wreck and the owner can’t handle fixing such serious damages.

Ford “confirmed” they were working very hard on putting together a hybrid F-150. The Hybrid engine will most likely use a version of the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 engine and will likely return 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway.
