1987 Ford F-150 Camper Build
We’ve acknowledged in the past that no two builds are exactly alike. Some take years, some take days. Others are full blown restorations, whereas others are minor improvements. Regardless of which build an individual decides to take on, it is a respectable thing to do.
With so many people out there who don’t even know how to do a tune up or check their oil, we’re appreciative of anyone who can install a lift kit, paint their ride, or overhaul an engine. Some might be on different levels than others, but the point is that they’re spending their time working on their own rig and making it into what they want it to be. And that is always an admirable thing.
Today we’ll be looking at a build that has been taken on by FTE member Bodyguard8367. Like most of the builds we feature on this site, his build is a work in progress, and certainly no where near complete! In fact, he just picked up the ride, a 1987 Ford F-150, in late May, so we’d say that this project is just getting started!
So far, Bodyguard8367 has removed the old canopy, which didn’t fit very well, put on some new wheels and tires, added a front lift kit, installed a new canopy, replaced the wheel bearings, the front and rear brakes, put in a new U-joint, and much more! The progress has been fast with this one, and we can’t wait to see the final product!
