BUILDUP! A 1965 Ford Econoline Pickup Build
Who doesn’t love something new and interesting? I mean, not to say that the normal and mundane is bad, but rather that sometimes it’s nice to throw in a little pizzazz. This is especially true when it comes to vintage Ford trucks, where most of what we are shiny SUVs and jacked-up trucks. These are all fine, of course, but something unique would be nice. Wouldn’t it?
It seems like we’re in luck, because FTE member josephlasvegas has recently started a build, and it’s not something you see every day! The ride is a 1965 Ford Econoline pickup, which is definitely a pretty rare sight! Josephlasvegas is working to fully restore the ride, and it’s coming along very well so far. Don’t you think?
New wheels and tires have been fitted on the Econoline, with the wheels being 8 inch wide Cragars in the rear, and 6 inch wide Cragars in the front. According to the owner, the engine has always ran well, but he still pulled it out in order to paint it. After all, who cares if it runs well if it’s covered in cobwebs?
