Ford Fans and Auto Enthusiasts Seem to Agree: The New Ford F-150 Is as Stellar and Powerful as We Knew It Would Be
Reviews of the 2017 Ford F-150 are quickly rolling in. So far, it looks like the latest version of the world’s most popular pickup is just as good as we thought it would be. Coming right on the heels of its excellent big brother, the Super Duty, the new F-150 has enough great new features to keep it atop the full-size truck market.
Although the changes to the 2017 Ford F-150 aren’t exactly what we would call “major,” they are significant. There’s the second-generation EcoBoost with more power, and the new 10-speed automatic transmission. Plus, the rebirth of the Raptor and a couple of new tech features are present to keep things fresh.
It’s not enough for Yahoo to declare the 2017 F-150 as just good. Instead, it is lauded as “laughably good.” After taking a spin in the new truck Yahoo lavished it with high praise.
The review highlights the luxurious appointments of the high-end models, and the copious power from the engine lineup. The thoughtful layout of the controls is also mentioned. But it’s the technology features that best all rivals. Also considered are all the special little details that Ford has put into its world beater.
For those of us in the know, this is no real surprise. Ford has continued to improve its best-selling truck for generations, and it just keeps selling the heck out of them. And that, my friends, is no laughing matter.
