This Low-Mileage 1987 Ford Bronco is a Blast From the Past
There have been a slew of low-mileage Broncos popping up lately. The reason for this surge is obvious – Ford’s big SUV is more popular than ever and prices are on the uptick. As a result, classic full-size and low mileage Broncos are emerging from garages everywhere like zombies rising from their graves.
The latest is this 1987 example, which has a mere 37,600 miles on the odometer, and is a true blast from the past. A well-equipped truck, it has the Eddie Bauer trim package and a 351/C6 drivetrain combination. The period-perfect blue and tan two-tone factory paint is in pretty immaculate condition, obviously spending most of the last 29 years sheltered away from the elements.
The interior is just as clean as the outside, with no stains, rips, or tears anyway. If it seems like almost every Bronco from this generation had a tan interior, it’s because they did! The engine bay is equally clean, with nary a bit of rust or dirt anywhere.
With the rebirth of the Bronco on the horizon, these burly SUVs have never been more popular. It’s a bad thing for those seeking to buy one since prices are rising, but it’s also great to see a bunch of unmolested examples hitting the market.
