C6
If no one has been in it. It is a standard duty early 70's car transmission with a 4 friction forward clutch, 3 friction Rev-Hi (direct) clutch, and 4 friction low rev. clutch. Plenty tough enough for a 352. I would certainly have someone go through it and put in new frictions and seals and a new servo. Because if it hasn't been overhauled recently all the rubber parts are probably as hard as Chinese arithmetic. If you go through it adding a #9 needle bearing will free up a bunch of horsepower. In Fords own words, " this kit dramatically reduces friction in all C6's". This is the item number of one on e-bay that I purchased recently just to have around ( 182412816962). It will go right in any C6 and in the deal you get a much stronger reverse ring gear hub.
