Emergency Flasher Socket Removal

I have been messing with this thing for awhile. I can get it to spring out, but I can't turn it. Is it stuck or am I missing something? This the last of the instrument switches/bulbs. What a bugger!

It twists about 1/4 turn, then comes out. You have to hold the back and twist the chrome bezel.

I tried that by hand. Maybe I need a pair of channel locks. Hate to scratch it,it looks very nice. Thanks

I carefully pried the chrome off. I had to use pliers to hold the newly uncovered flange on the front. It was really stuck. Once it moved it cam apart so easily it amazed me.Thanks
