very small leak from blue hose

So I recently had the head gaskets done at Ford. All is good but there is a slight drip from the blue EGR hose. It made a 3" circle on the driveway after 8 days. Coolant level is still fine. I really don't feel like dropping it back at Ford. Think I can just twist the hose to tighten it a bit or is a new hose in order? It is only 2 yrs old and was not replaced with the head gasket work.

You can try twisting it to find the sweet spot but I'd replace it. You can do it with minimal effort. There is a video on YouTube from DieselTechRon.

I have seen the video. When the oil cooler and EGR cooler was replaced by Ford, I had to bring it back for this same leak (when the hose was brand new). That leak was much more than the current one. Are the techs not turning it all the way? Should I by a new assembly?

Inspect the end of the cover where the hose slides on checking for damage or pitting. Make sure it is slid on all the way and lube the inner orings of the hose upon assembly. If the hose is 2 years old then yes I'd replace it.

When I had the oil cooler apart a few years back my new hose leaked under a vacuum. I was just getting ready to fill it back up and happened
to hear that little noise of air going back into the system before turning the valve on the Radvac to start the filling. I twisted the house a little but and
it quit making noise. I thought that I should also check it under pressure. No leak. One thing I did feel as I was turning the blue hose was that there
is a spot that the leak stopped and it felt more locked.

So I was able to fix it without removing a thing. I was able to get a pair of channel locks around the blue hose and very gently move it until it clicked. The Ford tech had not rotated it all the way. The nipples or little indents on the hose need to be at 9 and 3 oclock to lock it and at 12/6 to remove it. Mine were at about 1 oclock. It was not easy getting the channel locks in there and I was only able to rotate the tube a few degrees at a time. It did move with minimal pressure from the locks and I left no marks on the tube. I did try first with my fingers but was unable to grab it tight enough with the CAC tube in place. Anyway totally dry after a long drive today - yeah!

Ditto.

Does not take much for it to be off a tiny bit and leak.

I'll report back if this eventually does not work out. It is bone dry at the moment. I stuck a piece of paper shop rag under there for a bit and it came out dry.
