    Sorry I didn't check PMs earlier!

    I used a Haynes and it worked fine. Best to ask in the Ranger forum or at the Rangerstation forums regarding the timing cover. I only had mine briefly then swapped it for a welder.

    Good afternoon sir, I have a 94 ranger 2.3 timing belt in tact but slow hard cranking. I removed all parts to take off front timing cover. Your pics are the only ones that I have seen anywhere online that show the gears with the inner marking rather than the diamond or triangle. Before i go but a haynes or chiltons for this truck... which do you think has the most accurate pics and info? I have no diamonds or triangles on my gears or rear plastic timing cover. Aftermarket would have these things no? Once again, your pic is the only one that shows the plastic molded piece just below the cam gear, with the notches, lining up to the inner gear tooth mark.
