351M to 351W EFI in 78 bronco

Getting a good deal on a early 90's 351W with all the wiring so I'm looking at replacing the stock, heavy, worn out, under powered, carbed, 351M in my trail only bronco.
The question is it the motor mounts. Which ones do you need for the 351W? Thanks.
And before someone says it, I don't want a 460. My bronco is already heavy enough and the old 351M moved it pretty good so no need for a 460.

They did put the 302 into the Bronco, right? So, whatever works with the 302 would work with the 351W.

The 78-79 Bronco only the 351M/400, not a 302. To change to a 351W, he would have to change the transmission bell housing to a SBF pattern or if a C-6, change the case with a later model SBF pattern case. Easier to find a SBF C-6 from 80- to whenever they changed from a C-6.

i believe you must use 302 frame towers from a 2wd truck of that year also.

since you have the complete efi motor you might consider going with a Mustang efi mass air harness, injector harness and A9l or A9P computer. This setup would allow you to install pretty much any cam you like and the computer wouldnt care so much. that stock 90 efi is Speed Density and doesnt take well to cams that dont meet certain specs.

should be a great setup though. are you going to mod the motor at all before dropping it in?
