54 F100 progress

Well I am slowly making progress on my truck. Thought I would post a few pics. There are more posted in my gallery and garage.

First up is the 3 sp tranny as it looked when I started.


Here it is after removal and cleaning


And after painting with Ford Red paint

Here are the painted frame and suspension pieces ready to be reinstalled


Need about $400 worth of parts to start putting this thing back into a rolling chassis. But with Archery season starting next month followed by Firearms and Muzzleloader season...it look like it may be a little while.

Looking good so far. Maybe you'll fill your tag with your bow and then have lots of time to work on the truck .... LOL ....

Hey that looks great!

We could have used your tranny pictures in a thread about the clutch pedal hook up a couple of days ago!
