Hey All New Member 1st post

Hi Folks,
I've been reading this forum for a month and it's where I need to be!All the informative posts are helping me get my ol' '52 Murc 1/2 ton back on the road after 35 years in dry storage(I bought it in 1972 for $300).
The enthusiasim from posters here is a welcome encouragement-no matter how deep the rust the smell of enamel isn't that far away.
The 52 m1 is all there and original.

A little while ago a friend inherited a 10 arce property with 1000's of tons of cars, trucks, miss steel etc.I kinda got there first and bought a frame/body 51-52 and a (I don't know)48-50 3-6 ton truck with a water drilling rig attached. It's complete from rims up.This may as well be for sale as I have no use for it and don't need parts.

I'll get some pics up in the next few days.

Cheers to All,
Greg

Welcome to the board and thanks for another opportunity to pad my post count! Tee hee! How about some pics when you get a chance? I get a kick out of looking at the old Mercs.

This site obviously has no morals or scruples at all, and it would appear no guide lines as to who can join, as is evident by another banjo player from the Kootenays!

(Oh, welcome to the site, from Invermere)

Hey,Old,what do you call it when you chuck a banjo 50 feet - er,meters - through the air,it lands in a dumpster, and destroys itself,an accordion,as well as a set of bagpipes? Perfect pitch!
