ALRIGHT BOYS NEED ADVICE

Ok I have a 1993 F150 4x4 5.0 5 speed, ok this is what i want it to do to it

1. I6 swap
2. 8 lug conversion with a straight d60 front axel
3. Diamond Plate front and rear bumpers
4. Rhino Line the Frame, Floor boards and Bed
5. Keep the 2 inch body lift and put a 4 inch suspension lift on it
6. With the 4in lift i want to put atleast 37's on it TSL Boggers.

OK HERES THE DILIMA

Me and my dad just pulled off a big job, where hes getting a 1999 f250 power stroke and we're are making 3000 on top of it, my dad said i can either give my truck to my brother (after we are done) i can spend 2000 on another truck or my brother can take the 2000 and buy a truck, what do i do? Do I try to find a truck close to what I want for 2000 and give my truck to my brother or do i let him have the 2000 help guys

Your brother gets a truck for doing nothing? Need another brother?lol. You're going to spend a lot more than $2000 for the parts you plan on putting on the one you have. If you are patient and get lucky, you might come across some good deals. I say forget the I6. Nothing wrong with the 5.0 EFI. If all you're running is 37's, you might be able to use the Dana 44 instead of the more expensive Dana 60. I do think you should upgrade on the rear to the 10.25 because they can be found for next to nothing.

I paid $1125 for the F350 4x4 and just sold the bed for $200. I still have lots more to sell and hope to make enough $$$ that I basically get a D60 kingpin for free.

What do you plan on using your truck for? daily driver, mud, rock crawler, tow??? To me that would decide what to do to it. Seems to me your wish list contradicts itself. You have heavy duty stuff mixed with light duty.

For a tow rig, keep it as close to stock size as possible, especially where you plan on hauling a gooseneck with it. Goosenecks are designed to sit level when hooked to your truck, and it throws the balance off when they aren't. A lift makes it much harder to keep the trailer level.

To make it work on the cheap, find an early superduty (99-03) D50 front axle. They're leaf sprung, and you can redrill the hubs & rotors for the 8 on 6.5" bolt pattern pretty easy. They're easy to locate, and the D50's are relatively cheap.

I don't know if you've ever driven Boggers on the street, but they're not any fun. You can literally see the tread wearing driving them 20 miles on the highway. Pavement driving them, they are 10-12K mile tires, if you're lucky. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my Boggers in the mud, but they're on my mud toy for a reason.

yeah ive driven with them on there if you carve them alittle bit so the edges are rounded off and the lugs arnt as sharp and round them off they'll work great and you'll get 20k miles out of em
