Removing the headlights safely?

Anyone know how to remove the headlights safely without breaking any the tabs?

Just pull out and make sure that the headlight is not catching on the fender. No real risk of breaking anything. It's just very difficult to pull out.

Thanks for the reply, I made it bigger deal than it really was. I actully used a nylon rope and slid it partially behind the side marker end and was easily able to pop it out.

Because I have an XLT and wanted the headlights with the black housing I decided to do a transplant.
Not a huge deal to the Limited owners out there but here's what it looks like with the matte fenders and rockers.

Does anyone out there ever Line-x'd their rockers and fenders(just the matte sections)?

Thanks...I like the way they look too.
Hopefully I can verify that a OEM Ford Spoiler from the previous Expedition (prior to '07) would fit, I don't think the rear tailgate has changed much.

Or even if I can find a decent price on the 3dCarbon spoiler.
