Where is my pcm number?

1998 Expedition
What I thought was the pcm number is not. Just received a reply from Justin[VMP Tuning] and its not right. Can someone post an example or the number they sent it to get their programmer? Need it asap.

Ask Justin what he needs and where to find it.

Already did. He was able to tell me where it was, which I found it. But there are several numbers on there and he cannot tell me which one it is for sure. The number I sent him does not come back as valid for what he needs.
The PCM[from what I understand] is behind the kick panel on the passenger side. Actually, further back and further back from the kick panel. As shown here in image #5
On a 1998 expedition, where is the pcm and the ecm--5.4 litre
Do I need to take the whole thing out? The numbers/letters I found are on the side where the bracket is to hold it in

This is what Justin told me
"It’s 4 letters/numbers by themselves on the sticker or on the black plug (with a smaller sticker) at the end of the pcm"
If someone can post an example so I can have something to go by, I would really appreciate it

XXXX-12A650-XX is the engineering number for the PCM. Look for a number that follows the exact same format as what I've described.

XXXX = The part number prefix

12A650 = The basic part number (which in your case is 12A650)

XX = The part number suffix

I sent a number with that format and it did not come back to a 4.6. Maybe I copied it wrong, but I will double check. Thank you for the info
