Removing the Turbo Y-pipe

Removing the Turbo Y-pipe
Smelling fumes in cab and hear a whistle led me to realize I had a broken turbo Y-pipe seeing the stainless steel "accordion" flex part covered in soot. when I removed the modded up-pipe (egr side), the end part of the turbo Y pipe fell out!
I can't seem to figure out how to remove and re-install a new Y-pipe. Without success, I tried to remove it from below.
Does it come out top side once the turbo is removed? if so how? it seems to be a puzzle.

As soon as the turbo was removed, the turbo inlet Y-pipe was easy pickin's. The heat shield didn't have to be messed with for its removal.
However the two 8mm bolts on the bracket were removed so I could get a little wiggle room to use a screwdriver and pry the marmon clamp (V-clamp) from the inlet side of the turbo attached to the Y-pipe.
The OEM Large Y-pipe is toast, it's completely broken in two at the flex joint. The small Y-pipe that goes to the egr cooler was thought to be where the broken flex was located but it turns out this modded pipe is holding together just fine.
There is a procedure involved in the removal of the small egr related y-pipe;
Remove the top 10mm bolts first THEN loosen the lower 10mm bolts connecting the exhaust manifold last. This will alleviate twisting forces upon the flex connector above. (reverse procedure for install)
This is for those with solid up-pipes or modded ones since there is no support from the egr cooler inlet.

I will, and thank you.
I am wondering if I have to do the same thing with the pedestal? also massaging it into place?
I think I should go around and torque down everything related to the turbo including the marmon bands a little at a time.
Also, I am realizing that the flex joints in the Y pipe have their purpose for heat expansion and contraction.
