Brake pulse

Lately I have been getting a pulsing in my brakes. It does not feel anything like warped rotors. It is not in the steering wheel or the pedal. I can just feel the truck feel like it is braking good then let just enought to feel it and then brake good again, over and over untill stopped. The distance I travel between pulses tells me that it is more than one tire rotation. In my mind ruling out warped rotors. I noticed today that my brake boost line coming from the steering pump is riding on the intercooler pipe on the left side of the engine compartment. This thing gets pretty hot. Could it be overheating the fluid and causing this pulse?

I know it's a completely different vehicle but when my wifes Llumina starts to warp thge rotors it has the same feeling you are describing. And no feel through the pedal either so don't rule that out yet Terry.

Try looking at the slide pins to make sure they are in good shape.

I also would not think that they would have all of a sudden warped. I have not had any hard braking. Also they are the cryo Powerslot with Hawk pads not the stock rotors.

I am planning on doing this as I have noticed the Hawk pads do give off a lot of brake dust.
