Anyone know if the "o/d off light flashing" fault codes can be read with a OBDII reader??? Or do you need a special scanner?

 

You need an OBDII scanner that supports "manufacturer-specific" codes, a feature usually not found in low-end and entry-level models. For a DIYer, a scanner that lists for around $150-200 or more will usually have this capability. See the scanner's specifications to see what it can do.
