My downpipe shifted after a couple months and started creating a vibration in the cab whenever I would make a right hand turn. Re-adjusted and it's fine now.

The best thing I have ever found to make downpipe installation and fitment headaches disappear is a 3" body lift.

before i had my stacks i put a full 4" MBRP system in my truck and it took me about 2 hours to put the entire system in from turbo back and all of the hangers fit perfect. I loved the way it sounded and I have recommended them to plenty of people, but from time to time I do read something like this and I wonder how I could have had such a different experience. I plan on switching back to a regular exhaust on the red truck once I get back going with my project truck and get that finished up...

x2
I put my body lift on after the downpipe install though. I have room for a 4" downpipe now if I wanted one...

My first MBRP dowpipe i did was in my crew cab. Took me a solid two hours! It was awful. It rubbed and sounded like chit. My second round with MBRP i put it on my 97 Extended cab. I did it when it was a automatic, it rubbed on my trans lines and was a pain! I just swapped to a 5 speed its a PERFECT fit now! Id NEVER attempt putting one in an automatic again period. lol
