Mass Air or MAP?

Could a 97 f250hd with a 351 possibly have MAP?
Did they still do MAP in 97?
I ask because I looked under the hood and didn't see a maf sensor.
Any help appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that 96 and later are all maf. I believe the change to obd2 necessitated the change.

Found this with Google.

"I know the Federal emissions over 8500 5.8 and 7.5 stayed OBD-1/Speed Density until the end of the 97. Not sure about cali emission 5.8's, I know 7.5's did go MAF/OBD-II for a year or maybe two. F150's are MAF/OBD-IIfor 96."

So no its not MAF.
