Frame Interchange

What frames will a 79 reg cab long bed body match up to without repositioning of mounts??

Well the 73-77 frames are out of the question (without drilling holes) because of their changes in widths.

His body would still go on a 73-77 F-150 or any 2wd wouldn't it?

thats what I figured thats why I didnt post F250 or 4x4 to begin with but i could be wrong in my assumtion...

I believe the F.150 would also be different from 73-77,78-79, but I could be wrong, Someone correct me if I am. I do know the f250 frames are different from 73-77,78-79.

Yes, you are wrong. The only frames that are different are the 73-77 F-250 4x4 and all F-350 2wd trucks.
