Hi, I own a 1987 Ford FT 8000, with a 3208 Cat. I want to replace the thermostat. Can't find one in my engine. Followed the top radiator hose to a fitting that looks like it should house the thermostat. Took out two bolts holding housing in place, and nothing. I was told at NAPA that my engine has 2 thermostats. Can someone please help. I know next to nothing about the 3208. Are there instructions somewhere on-line I can go to. Thanks kerry

 

If nothing else go to the source. Try cat.com and use the dealer locator for your state. Then visit the dealer website. Yancy Cat seems to be big in Georgia.

 

Hey thanks framerboy, nevernufhp gave me a site link in diesel truck thread. Pictures showed me exactly what I needed to know. For instance the 3208 has 2 thermostats.You guys came through again. thanks, kerry
