I just had this thought pop in my head...
There isnt a way to open up the visor and slip in a magnet of some sort is there? Since our roofs are metal and this way you wouldnt have to worry about the glue or such from failing it might be a good solution if you can figure a way to slip in a magnet.

Excellent idea! The metal being in the Sun just gets too hot for any glue/epoxy to hole so....
What I intend doing: finally a use for those pita calendars/advertisements/etc. that have strip-magnets to adhere to a refrigerator. Remove the strip of magnet, hot glue it to the visor...voila!
The issue isn't the arm, but the visor being loose in the tube of the visor. I tried 'compacting' it a little more, but I don't want to damage the hide. The magnet idea should work great! Will advise upon completion. Thanks!

That's an awesome idea. I think I've even got a couple of them at home. I'm going to try that tonight.

You can't get the visor to grab the visor arm any tighter with it still in the visor etc...

For giggles, I just took a 1" dia, 1" long 3 pole rare earth magnet and stuck it to my head liner, it wouldn't even hang on it's own ... Yet, set this magnet on my surface plate and you almost cannot get it off!
It's a 3 pole aluminum cased high pull rare earth magnet, I don't remember the exact max pull poundage but it's over 100 lbs ...
They are what we use to lock down chassis setup & alignment fixtures on the surface plate.
-Enjoy
