Thumbs up Welcome to our newest members - Udo and F350 Strait

Hey everyone,

Want to welcome two new members, Udo and F350 Strait. Both of them hail from the Sacramento area and have Fords from the 70's! Long live the bumpsides and dentsides!

We are fun group that chats online, shares information, and are trying to schedule a get together later this summer. Feel free to share some information about yourself here and tell us about your Fords.

Hey all, thanks for having me. I live in Sacramento, and I just got a 1970 F250. the specs and pics of it are in another thread- https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...he-forums.html. My plans for it are really just to have a nice parts/ stuff hauler truck for the family.

I also have a 1968 Mercury Cougar, so I am no stranger to these old Fords. If you are interested in it, you can search me on www.mercurycougar.net

Anyway, I look forward to learning much from this forum, and hope that I will in turn be able to help others here out as well, and maybe even meet some of you in person at some time.

Howdy All,

I've been a member of FTE for years and decided it was time to join the Nor Cal group. I have a 79 F350 Super Cab with a 545 (stroked 460) with an Art Carr C6 and a Gear Vendor OD. Currently working on the body. Also own an 06 F350 crew cab dually.

Anyways I'm looking forward to meeting people in the Sacramento area.

Thanks guys,

I kind of over built the engine for the cam that is in it right now. But in the future all I have to do is put a bigger cam in it to make more power. As it is it dyno'd at 500 hp at 5000 rpm & 600+ ft pnds of torque from 2000 thru 4500 RPM. I built it to pull a 5th wheel so I was looking for mucho low end torque not high rpm power. I'll get some pictures posted but it just looks like a 460 with aluminum heads.
