2010 F250 with sync nav and DVD player

Here is the question I have the 2010 F250 with the sync nav/DVD player... was wondering if anyone knows how to make the DVD player work while in drive so the kids can watch it while im driving?

Of course I'm sure you know that is illegal, but this is what I installed in my 2010 F250 to do that very thing. It not only lets you watch movies while in drive, but it unlocks the nav to use while in motion too. And perhaps most important is that it allows the user to "one button" press the system back to factory. You know just in case you're stopped by the po po!

Sweet... I was wondering about this too.
I am hope it will work with the 2011 F250.

Now how do I get the dash apart to get to the radio to pull it out and plug this thing in ???
I would assume it is easy but not sure where to start in gaining access to pull the radio.

Did you watch the on line video of the F150 install? Way too much for me to consider. I paid a local guy $90 to install mine. He even put in a camera for the front just like the reverse camera. It's cool to be going down the road and switching live between front and rear cameras. Especially the rear camera. You'd be amazed what's going on behind you just out of sight of your rear view mirrors!

I watched the F150 install and it did look pretty involved. I also watched the Edge install and it looked stupid easy to install.
The radio I have in mine looks like the same as the Edge and not like the radio in the F150... but the dash looks like the F150... so I was just cross my fingers that the install for the newer F250 was somewhere in between the two.

Where did you install the front camera ??
Any pics of where/how the camera is installed ??
